About CCIS
Our Mission
The mission of CCIS is “Connecting Stanford Internationals with the Community.”
Meeting with people from other countries is our reward. CCIS is a volunteer organization that supports international graduate students, postdocs, visiting scholars, and their families at Stanford University.
We are “resource people” who become friends with internationals adjusting to America. In the process, we gain friends from around the world and enrich our lives.
CCIS has an all-volunteer Board of Directors consisting of an Executive Committee and current Program Chairs. Each member serves for a one-year term. The Board is active and involved in all aspects of the organization. CCIS operates on a July-to-June calendar year, to more closely match the Stanford University academic calendar.
Please contact the CCIS President if you are interested in joining the leadership team of CCIS, or check “Willing to serve on the Board or a Committee” on your membership application.
To send a message to any board member: Add the officer’s contact email address to the front of the “@CCISstanfordU.org” suffix. Example: officeraddress@CCISstanfordU.org
