CCIS is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that gratefully accepts donations. Our tax ID number is: TIN 23-7009131

CCIS is 100% donor supported. We have no paid staff and receive no funding from Stanford University or the Bechtel International Center.

Please support CCIS by donating to either, or both, of our funds:

CCIS General Program Fund

Annual donor support to the CCIS General Fund is vital to our continuing programs and general purpose operations.

Spouse Education Fund (SEF)

Provides small grants to enable international spouses or partners with financial need to take advantage of local academic and professional-development opportunities. See the Spouse Education Fund page for details.

Donate when recording your membership

Through your CCIS Membership, you may choose to make no donation, donate through PayPal (using a PayPal account or most major credit cards), or donate by check.

We will send an email confirmation when we receive your donation. (PayPal may also send its own confirmation.)

If you donate by check, make it payable to “CCIS” or “Community Committee for International Students” with the notation “CCIS” or “SEF” in the check’s memo field. If donating to both, specify the amount for each.

If you are not volunteering:

You may choose not to be a member. You can donate by check as described above, or contact the CCIS Treasurer to learn how to make an electronic donation.

Plan a legacy gift

Please consider these ways to provide a gift to support our work:

    • Name CCIS and/or SEF as a beneficiary of your will or trust. The amount could be specific, a percentage, or a reminder.
    • Include CCIS and/or SEF as a beneficiary of your retirement or life insurance policy.
    • Donate to CCIS and/or SEF from your IRA when you need to make a required minimum distribution. Please consult your tax advisor.

Contact the CCIS Treasurer to dicusss your plans and interests in making a legacy gift that will sustain the mission of CCIS at Stanford University.
