WINDOWS ON THE WEST–FILM SERIES
This film series is designed to help all international students, post docs, and visiting scholars to understand Americans, and to adapt to American life and American academic life. All Stanford international students, from first year on, are invited. We encourage discussion and connection at dinner and the after-film discussion. Please join us!
Windows on the West is a joint program of The Community Committee for International Students and The Bechtel International Center.
This is a private CCIS and Bechtel International Center event open to all Stanford international students, post docs, visiting scholars, and members of the CCIS and Bechtel International Center Community.
DINNER: Participants in the Global Chefs program prepare dinner. Dinner is served to the first 45 people to arrive.
Bob Spears is the chair of this CCIS program. If you would like to help with set up or clean up it would be appreciated but is not required. Contact Bob to volunteer.
Parents: Please be advised the films scheduled are chosen to look at various aspects of American life and identity and may not be appropriate for children. Children are welcome, however we recommend parents review each film for age appropriateness.
